TPB regulations
Your Obligations as a Taxpayer
To help us provide accurate and lawful tax advice, you must:
- Be truthful and transparent with the information you provide
- Keep the necessary records and share them with us on time
- Respond to our requests and meet deadlines we set
- Comply with tax laws
Failure to meet these obligations may result in penalties, interest charges, audits, or legal action from the ATO.
What You Can Expect From Us
As your registered tax practitioner, we are legally required to:
- Act honestly, lawfully, and in your best interests
- Provide competent, confidential, and professional service
- Request supporting documents to validate any claims
- Keep you informed of your tax rights and obligations
- Manage conflicts of interest appropriately
- Not knowingly obstruct tax law administration
If we identify any false or misleading information (whether provided by us or you), we are required to correct it or guide you on how to do so.
Important Notifications
In line with TPB regulations, we must also inform you if:
1. Our Registration Has Conditions
If our registration is limited to certain services (e.g. R&D advice only), weโll advise you before we engage or re-engage.
2. A โPrescribed Eventโ Has Occurred
We are required to notify you if, within the past 5 years, we have:
- Been suspended or deregistered by the TPB
- Entered bankruptcy or external administration
- Been convicted of a serious taxation or dishonesty offence
- Been sentenced to prison for 6 months or more
No such events currently apply to our practice.

We are committed to providing professional, ethical, and high-quality service. If you’re unhappy with the service youโve received, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can address your concerns.
If weโre unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you have the option to lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
We stand by our work โ if you’re genuinely unhappy with the service provided, we’re happy to refund all fees paid.
